How do I handle the waitlist for my event page?

It’s important to proactively manage your Tech Week event’s waitlist, as sign ups register.
The longer you leave guests pending, the less likely they are to attend your event.
The biggest mistake hosts make is leaving qualified guests pending for too long, who then apply to other events. As a rule of thumb, aim to approve/deny all applicants within 7 days of their application.
For people on the waitlist, make sure you send them periodic messages explaining that they are still on the waitlist and not yet confirmed in order to avoid confusion!
